Original / result
Original / result enables you to compare the original picture with the edited picture, for example after applying an effect. The appropriate buttons can be found above the preview window. The grey star symbolizes the original and the golden star symbolizes the edited version.
This can be illustrated by an example

The film strip
The film strip enables a quick overview of or rather navigation within the video. If a film is loaded into the program, Ashampoo Video Styler creates a preview made of single pictures. When you hover over the film strip with your mouse, the blue flag (see below) symbolizes the within the film point of time where you are with your mouse. If you click on that point, then the video will be played exactly from that point on. The golden flag appears, when the video is played. It shows at which point in the video you are and what is just played.
Display size
By clicking on Full Screen (see image below, green frame) you can maximize the preview screen. As a result the directory tree, the thumbnail preview and some other functions will fade out. With the button Window you will get back to the normal screen.
Turn and mirror
Ashampoo Video Styler provides four buttons that cover these essential functions so that you can quickly and comfortably rotate and mirror your videos. They are located above the film strip (see image below).
There you have the following options:
Edit videos
To the right of the preview window (see image below) you will find all functions to edit, to export into different formats or for portals and to save the video. Go here for more detailed information.
